Sponsored or Branded Content

At Webedia we work with different sources of income that allow us to maintain our editorial independence. One of them is sponsored content or branded content.

Following the same principles that inspire the editorial content of our publications, we believe that branded content should provide quality and interesting content for our audience, professionally prepared, appropriate to the themes of our websites.

Our work philosophy establishes very clear practices for labeling and presenting branded content, explaining who commissioned and produced it. The intention is that there is no confusion in the involvement of brands and editorial teams involved in the development of these contents.

In Webedia publications there are four types of branded content labels:

  • "Offered by/content contracted by the brand being mentioned."
  • "Special advertising"
  • "Xataka Challenge/Collaboration and sponsorship"
  • "Promoted content"

Offered by/ Content contracted by the brand being mentioned.

These contents have been designed and produced by a team of experts in the subject matter of Brandista, the content division for brands of the Webedia group. They are signed as Webedia Brand Services. Brands participate to establish the topic to be covered and give their approval to the final result.

In addition to Webedia publications, Brandista's team of Branded Content professionals is in charge of consulting, strategy and content production for brands in many other media. In Webedia's publications we include a relevant selection of these contents, identified with the label "offered by". Advertising Special

The brand is responsible for the ideation, narrative, structure and final result of these contents. Brandista's team is limited to transmit the brand's message. These contents are not signed.

Xataka Challenge

The challenges and sponsorships in the Xataka TV channel are commercial actions that we do with brands. They propose us to test or promote a certain product and the Webedia editorial team makes the video without participation in the script or subsequent supervision of the brand.

Promoted content

These contents have been designed and produced by the editorial team of 3DJuegos. They are signed as Promoted Content. Brands participate to establish the topic to be covered and give their approval to the final result.
