Rockstar Games has just released the second trailer for GTA VI, almost a year after the first one. It’s great news for fans, but it leaves a bittersweet taste considering that the video game’s release has been delayed. It won’t arrive until May 26, 2026.

Expectations are certainly huge for the sixth installment of the saga: GTA V has sold more than 200 million copies since it launched on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2013. Even today, it remains one of the most-watched titles on Twitch.

In GTA VI, the franchise returns gamers to Vice City, with Jason and Lucia as the protagonists. They seek a better life—even if that means committing crimes such as robberies or kidnappings.

The trailer highlights a major visual leap, which looks spectacular compared to its predecessor—though of course, it’s been a few years. Now, there’s only one thing left for fans: be patient.
